The son of a potter, Bill Curran grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks, in Glens Falls, New York. After earning his BFA at the State University of New York at Purchase, Bill came to Philadelphia in 2000, where he established Bill Curran Design in a small artist studio not far from the Reading Terminal. Over the past two decades, his company has grown into one of the premier architectural metalwork studios in the greater Philadelphia area. BCD is now located in the Germantown area of Philadelphia.

BCD’s clients have included Air France, Aetna Healthcare, Alterra Properties, Boyds, Brandywine Realty Trust, Cambria Hotel, Hyatt Hotels, Live Nation, Pearl Properties, Rescue Spa, University City District, and the University of Pennsylvania.
